Candy Cane Glitter Nails

It's almost here you guys Christmas!!!! I haven't got all my shopping done yet but I still have four days plenty of time! haha. For this design I used Essie's "Really Red" which is pretty similar to their "Lollipop" color but a bit darker. Then I used a white stripier and a gold glitter stripier to do the lines across my nails. Don't be afraid to try different glitter colors for this design. I'm positive that they would look good with different ones and textures.

This next color I absolutely adore! China Glaze has amazing colors and best of all, the colors don't get thicker while sitting in the bottle if you don't use them. This is "Ruby Pumps" from their Wizard of Oz collection. Enjoy!

Hope you ladies enjoyed this design Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!! All the best in 2012:)

Holiday Color and Topcoats

Season's Greetings!

I've been really excited to use these holiday top coats from Essie's Holiday collection. They all have different textures which I love. The one that I'm using in this post is called "Set in Stones" and it's silver. I also did an accent nail to give this mani a holiday feel:)

I've grown to like pastel colors. I didn't so much before because I thought they looked awkward on my fingers nails. But you just have to find the right shade. I used Essie's infamous "Mint Candy Apple" and "Lollipop" has the accent nail polish. I love this top coat. So far I only have two out of the five top coats from the collection I will probably get the whole collection eventually.

Some New Goodies

Hello Everyone,

Look what I got in the mail last week!:

KONAD STAMPS!

I'm super dooper excited to start using my new treasures!!! I've heard and seen a lot about these products so I said to myself, self you gotta get on this Konad train and enjoy the ride! haha ANY WHO! for this design I wanted to do some cute snowflakes on my nails because winter is here and I really love the look of glistening snow. It's very pretty to me and one of the only things I like about winter.

The blue polish I used is China Glaze's "Frostbite" it's a deep pearl luster blue and added the snowflake stamps. Enjoy!

A Very Matte Christmas

Hey Guys Happy Holidays!!

I've been thinking of cute Christmas designs to put up and I thought of this Christmas paint splatter Matte design. It's really eye catching and goes good with Christmas party outfits. Which is what i'll be wearing to a Christmas party ill be attending:) Since paint dries matte, I used Essie's  "Matte About You" polish (which makes any polish go from shiny to matte) to give my design that paint effect. Here are the other polishes I used:

China Glaze's "Ruby Pumps, Swing Baby and Essie's Going Incognito"

Here's the turn out:

The Thumb was my favorite so I did a close up for that one. I also mixed up what colors I put on my fingers. I was going to try and put all three colors on all my fingers, but my nails beds aren't big enough. Next time I do this, I am going to make smaller dots on my fingers. Hope you ladies enjoyed this design. See you soon!

For The Love of Purple

Hey Everyone I wanna start off  by saying Happy last day of November! Can't believe it's almost 2012 crazy how times flies. I wanna share one of my favorite colors to wear PURPLE! it's also my sister's favorite color so this is one for her to. For the first color, I did a half moon manicure. I used China Glaze's "Swing Baby" and Essie's "Sexy Divide". It's so funny I thought this color was called Sexy Divine but when I looked closer I saw it was Divide. Hope you guys enjoy!!

I love using the gold as the base because it goes good with any color. Literally:)

This next color is my absolute favorite purple to wear. This is China Glaze's C-c-courage cute name isn't it? This is from their Wizard of Oz collection which is all glitter polishes and they are really easy to take off unlike most glitter polishes.

This color consists of  blue, silver, purple and pink glitter flecks. I think this would look great on anyway skin tone cause it as plenty of colors to complement your skin. Enjoy Ladies!

The Reds, the Blues, and the Grays

Happy November Everyone,

We have reached a new month for fall which is one of my favorite seasons the clothes, the colors, the nail polish (hehe). These three colors are some of my favorites to wear during fall especially the red I'll be adding different shades of these colors to this post so keep a look out!

Essie - Chinchilly

I wasn't a huge fan of gray, but I always like to try colors I would normally never wear instead of sticking to the same ones. I like me some Versatility:) This is another great color from Essie. The name is really cute as well. This color is also pretty similar to another Essie nail polish call "Merino Cool" which has a purple undertone to it. I'll be showing that one soon as well.

China Glaze - Bermuda Breakaway

Man Oh Man how I wish I could have what this polish is called. But since I can't at the moment, I'll have to settle for looking cute wearing it haha! Just kidding:) This is a deep navy blue from China Glaze who also has really unique colors. This is from their collection "Bahama Blues" I thought the color was a bit dark at first, but I warmed up to it.

Essie - Lollipop

This is a very bright vibrant red. Essie describes it has a Candy Cane red. I'd say it's one of my go to red's to wear. I like how bright and colorful it is. Very eye catching and perfect for fall.
See you guys next week! Take care.

Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween Guys!
To compensate for not dressing up this year (haha) I did a cute Halloween design and another one for fall as well. Enjoy!

Essie - Brazilliant/ Art Deco Nail Art

I added the black line first and then crossed it with the silver. Cute and simple:)

Essie - Sew Psyched with OPI's Glitter Top Coat

This Essie color is one of my favorites to wear! and this OPI top coat is GOLD (no pun intended) haha. It adds so much to any color  you put on. Even if you don't particularly like a certain color put this top coat over it and you will be wearing that color all the time. Hope you guys enjoyed this weeks colors, have a great week and enjoy your Halloween!

First Week of Fall

Hello Everyone!

Welcome to my blog. I hope this is a a new home or should I say "niche"  for you guys to come when your looking for a little extra something to spruce up your nails with some different colors or funky designs. I've been wanting to do this for a very long time and now I have the chance to start it off! Which makes me very excited. I hope that you all love reading it has much has I've liked starting it. So let's get started.

For my blog, I've not only decided to post different colors every week that go along with the season or the upcoming holidays, but also to express my thoughts, post some of my favorite things like clothing, beauty products, and anything that I believe is helpful to individuals that decide to follow and read my blog. I'll also be doing a few nail designs. Granted I'm not the queen of nail art I'm just starting out so I hope you guys enjoy the journey.

Essie - Island Hopping
I love this color it's a mauve/purple blend and really pops.

Essie - Going Incognito
Not only do I love this color the name is very suiting. This is a very creamy teal color from Essie's 2010 Winter Collection (which has gorgeous colors if you haven't already caught a glimpse of them) I'll be adding pictures of the bottles shortly! See you guys next week!
