Peacock Nails and Fly

Hey Everyone,

Today I have a really pretty design inspired by peacocks. I got this idea from julieg on YouTube. If you guys haven't checked her out yet she has some really awesome nail tutorials. I used really bright colors so they would stand out and I was definitely not disappointed. But before I show you the design, I'm going to show you the base color that I used for these because it's to pretty not to show it off!

Fly- China Glaze

Love Love Love! This color is so bright and vibrant perfect for spring and summer! Now for the design

 Colors I used
Fly- China Glaze
Turned up Turquoise - China Glaze
Recycle - China Glaze
Mesmerized - Essie
First I drew on the feather's with the black stripper. Then I layered the three colors on top of each other giving the design the peacock effect. ENJOY!

Cocktail Bling and Disco Ball

Isn't this cute with the Sally Hansen sparkle nail polish on top? I love it. Sorry if you can't really see the sparkles. They are there though. One of my other favorites from the Cocktail Bling collection is "School of hard Rocks" it's a soft creamy teal:) See you ladies soon.

This is from there Spring 2011 collection called "Anchors Away" It's a nautical theme collection and all the colors are amazing. The names are real cute as well. I think this is a real statement pink. People just notice it when it's on. I also did a black and white checkered design. I Love, love, love this really eye catching! Here we go:

China Glaze Ahoy!

Checkered Nails!

For these nails, I  used a black stripper from "Art Deco" with silver sparkle in it. I love this look. I think I'll experiment with some different colors. Maybe black and yellow, black and yellow haha:) See you ladies!

Useful Tools and Water Marble

Hey Ladies,

I wanted to share some tools I use that make my hands soft and keep my nails beds sharp:) I got these from two of my friends for my birthday, and the other from my sister:)

Spa Manicure Scrub

This is an instant manicure scrub . It leaves yours hand incredibly soft and supple. I try to use this twice a week when I'm about to do a new manicure. You can also use it on your feet. and Shaving Gel 3 in one. (I haven't used it on my feet, but I may do that in the summertime when it's time for sandles and flip flops haha.)

Travel Manicure Set

I love this set. This is from Covergirl. I never knew how to use the cuticle stick until I had one lol. This also come with a nail file and a buffer. It's really useful when your on the go. My nails break on occasion so it's nice to have a little kit handy in my purse. It's a real pet peeve of mine to have uneven nails.

Now for the best part Water Marble!!!

This took me a few tries. I really didn't think it was going to be that difficult until I tried it. You really have to make sure the water is room temperature for it to work just right. You can also make different patterns on your nails and have more of one color on your nail then another. You also have to work really quick because the nail polish does dry on the surface of the water pretty quickly. I used two of my favorite colors (Yellow and Blue) and Gray to make it three. Enjoy!

China Glaze -Recycle
Essie- Mesmerized
Sally Hansen -Lightning Bolt
